I have learned so much this past year. Incredible teachers and mentors have given me insight to acting and this business of acting. I was fortunate to have a group of established actors volunteer their time to help me make my short film "If It Kills Me" which i co-wrote with my good friend and actor James Kiriyama- Lem. We were able to have our film premier at The Vine Short Film Fest in Santa Monica, which led to us getting an IMDB page so that was cool. I want to thank Terry Berland, Sharon Chatten, Art Ford, James Kiriyama-Lem, Blake Heal at Conscious Minds, The Actors Network, Gwen Cifuentes at UCLA Film School, Bonnie Gillespie whom I've never met but am inspired by her blogs every month, Michelle Danner at Edgemar in Santa Monica ecspecially because she has accepted me into the theater and film group where I get to do script coverage and be a part of the film series. The Film Series is very exciting to me because myself and others are going to be putting on the Edgemar Film Festival. It will be open to only Edgemar members for the first year but then we will open it up to the community after that. I'm doing a lot of reading, writing, painting, and really trying to be a sponge. Until next time...
